Hidden Mysteries & Secrets

While Verse 4 revealed the ultimate destination (Satlok), Verse 5 provides the strict checklist of spiritual qualifications required to enter it. It describes the precise internal transformation a soul must undergo to resonate with the high spiritual frequency of the Supreme Abode, detailing what must be left behind to cross the boundary of the material universe.

I The Dissolution of Ego (Pride and Illusion Destroyed)

The verse opens by targeting the primary anchor of the soul: pride and delusion.

  • The Psychological Barrier: Pride (maan) and affection/illusion (moha) are the dense energies that tether a soul to the lower branches of the cosmic tree. Pride reinforces the false idea of the "individual self" or identity, while illusion blinds a person to the temporary nature of this world. To enter Satlok, this false identity must be completely dissolved.

II. The Severance of Attachment

The text emphasizes that "attachment has become destroyed."

  • Cutting the Final Threads: In Verse 3, the seeker used the axe of Tatvgyan to chop down the tree of Kaal Niranjan. Verse 5 describes the internal result of that action. All mental attachments to material possessions, relationships, and worldly outcomes are completely severed. The soul no longer holds onto anything within the perishable universe.

III. Constant Absorption in the Supreme Being

A key qualification is being "engrossed in the Purna Parmatma all the time."

  • Unbroken Connection: True spiritual success is not a part-time ritual or an occasional prayer. The qualified soul maintains an uninterrupted, continuous meditative connection with the Supreme God. Their consciousness is firmly fixed on the absolute root of the tree, rendering them completely immune to the distractions of the lower administrative branches (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva).

IV. Transcending the Dualities of the Material Matrix

The verse concludes by stating that these souls are "properly free from the darkness of joys-sorrows" and are completely "devoid of desires."

  • Rising Above the Matrix: The material world operates on a binary system of dualities: pleasure and pain, joy and sorrow, success and failure. The text explicitly calls this cycle "darkness." A wise seeker realizes that material joys are fleeting and always followed by sorrow. By remaining neutral to both—neither craving pleasure nor fearing pain—the soul detaches from the emotional machinery of Kaal's realm and gracefully ascends to the changeless, eternal reality of Satlok.
