The Blessed Lord said: The Perishable nature is "Adhibhuta" (the lord of the living beings). The Supreme Divine Person (Purna Brahm) is "Adhidaiva." O best of embodied beings! In this human body, the Supreme Almighty who is established in all sacrifices is "Adhiyajna," and in this same manner, I (the Speaker of the Gita) also reside here.

श्री भगवानुवाच: हे देहधारियों में श्रेष्ठ (अर्जुन)! इस शरीर में नाशवान स्वभाव वाले अधिभूत (जीव का स्वामी) और अधिदैव (दैवी शक्ति का स्वामी) हैं। यज्ञों में प्रतिष्ठित अधियज्ञ (यज्ञ का स्वामी) वह पूर्ण परमात्मा है और इसी प्रकार इस मानव शरीर में मैं (गीता ज्ञान दाता) हूँ।
